Remember that clever flood defence gate project we shared during its build stage? We’ve just been sent these fantastic final images of the system being installed on-site, and it looks incredible!

Seeing a massive, heavy marine barrier get lowered into position really shows the true scale of the project. You can see the crane positioning the gate into the sheet-piled channel. Also you can see the gate is being successfully submerged, and right there in the foreground is our heavy-duty, pedestal-mounted Gebuwin manual winch and tension-balanced pulley system, ready to control it.

When you're dealing with critical infrastructure like flood defences, simplicity and absolute reliability are everything. No complex electronics or power dependencies to worry about—just pure, dependable mechanical advantage that works exactly when it's needed most.
